My name is Danny Bronski and my law firm is VeriTrademark. This section of my site provides some information about my background and why I choose to work with entrepreneurs, growing businesses and creative businesses.

What is your educational background?

I earned my law degree and MBA from Duke University, one of the top programs for each discipline. At Duke, I was a founder of the Duke Law and Technology Review, a law journal that focuses on how technology and the internet impact the law. I also earned degrees in Finance and Psychology from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where I graduated near the top of my undergraduate class. So now, after all that schooling, I can analyze you, your stock portfolio and your legal problems.

What jurisdictions do you practice in?

I am licensed to practice law in both Washington and New York. My practice is based in Seattle in the historic Pioneer Square.

What practice areas do you focus on?

My practice is focused on business transactions, intellectual property (especially trademark law), entertainment and employment law. My clients are typically growing businesses and entrepreneurs. I also work with many artists and creative businesses. While many of my clients are located near Seattle, I work with clients across the country and even internationally with intellectual property issues.

Why did you choose to focus your law practice on entrepreneurs and growing businesses?

I have always had a passion for small business and ideas. I am an entrepreneur in addition to being an attorney, and I grew up in a family business environment.

Unfortunately, smaller businesses are woefully under-served by the legal community; our industry is disproportionately structured to cater to the needs of "deep pockets", and many talented lawyers believe that it doesn't make economic sense to serve small businesses. Recognizing this fact, I have stepped in to fill this niche with top-quality legal representation.

What is unique about your approach to practicing law?

My practice is built on the twin foundations of a top-notch education and a wealth of business and entrepreneurial experience. I believe I bring a lot more creativity and sound judgement to small business issues than most attorneys.

I established this practice because I have a passion for solving small business problems, and because I relate really well to entrepreneurs and small business owners. In fact, I don't think I would have any interest in practicing law if I couldn't work with these types of clients.

What is unique about your approach to client service?

The legal profession is often (properly) maligned for insensitivity to client needs; I have read repeatedly that the small business community's greatest complaint with its legal representation is lack of responsiveness. However, you won't have this problem with me!

I realize that I am merely a service provider, and I am very focused on the "service" aspect of what I do. Thus, I return phone calls promptly, spend a lot of time thinking about how better processes and technology can make my practice more useful, and put forth the extra effort in other ways to make you feel valued as a client.

Why should I hire you?

In short, because there are few attorneys with the ability to deliver practical, insightful solutions to commercial legal problems in an accessible manner, and I am one of the few!

So now that you've blown me away with rhetoric, how can I contact you so you can prove how much value you can add to my business?

I am very happy that my approach resonates with you and look forward to working with you to develop a mutually beneficial, value-for-value relationship. Finding my contact information is easy, since I've posted my e-mail address and phone number to every page of this site.
